About

Hello neighbor and thanks so much for dropping in.  I’m an independent writer from Nova Scotia who also happens to love nature photography and the joy of the natural world.

As our environment continues to suffer from our willful myopia, I think it’s vital to renew our bonds to nature and the sacred things she wishes to teach us.  All we need to do is stop and listen. And lucky for us, there is no better classroom than the quiet of the woods.

So think of Nature’s Reflection as your place, a place of peaceful meditations, on the earth, the sky, and all the green in between.  And who knows?  Maybe I’ll even inspire myself to write a little now and again.

Hi. I was glad to stumble across your blog. It’s nice to see photos of landscapes and forests similar to where I live but on the other side of the pond. All your photos look familiar but different. Keep up the good work and I’ll be following from now on with interest. Slainte mhath from an Old Scotian! 😀

I find your blog fascinating for the beauty you show us. I agree that it is a heritage to protect and not squander.
I wonder if I might use some of your photos for a very short story that I have written about children on vacation near a pond. It will be a post in my blog. It is a happy story that relates to a lot of my childhood memories. I would give you the credits of course and link back to your blog as well. Mine is a simple blog, general audience, and non-commercial. Some of your images would fit very well with the story. You can read it in advance if you wish. Sincere regards, Vera

So happy to have found your blog. Your photographs are lovely and the scenes are similar to those I love here in south Louisiana; thanks for sharing.

    • Oh thank you so much, I’m honored! I hope you’ll understand that I decided awhile ago to be an award free site, for personal reasons, but I so much appreciate the thought. But I hereby nominate you for the most thoughtful person award. 🙂 Cheers!
